Jennifer Hoegen
Jennifer Hoegen is senior strategic initiatives program manager on the Project Management and Program Support team at the Carnegie Foundation. She manages strategic initiative projects across the organization.
Before joining the Foundation, Jennifer worked on strategic initiatives for Dell Technologies and Harvard University’s Center for International Development. Based in Kabul, Afghanistan, she also worked as a subject matter expert for the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, focusing on U.S. efforts to support Afghan women. Additionally, her deep interest in global affairs inspired her work as a volunteer researcher on a project that implemented text messaging to report cases of child abuse in rural Sierra Leone.
Jennifer is passionate about transforming strategies and systems that do not view people holistically, with the hope of bridging gaps and providing greater access for all to support human rights in every aspect of her work. Jennifer holds a master’s in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a master’s in international relations from Boston University.
