Carnegie National Faculty (CNF) are distinguished scholars and practitioners who have distinctive expertise in particular areas of improvement science in education. CNF are engaged in substantial work with the Foundation supporting the spread of improvement science in the field, particularly through teaching, development, and coaching. The relationship between the Foundation and its CNF is defined by a shared interest in the Carnegie mission and, therefore, is guided by a sense of how best to advance this common cause and support the Foundation in its pursuit of this aim. Carnegie National Faculty are awarded specific endorsements that signal the particular areas of their engagement within the Foundation’s field building strategies.
