The Carnegie Foundation launched the Spotlight on Quality in Continuous Improvement in 2017 to create opportunities for educational leaders to learn from and celebrate those that have demonstrated quality in the enactment of improvement principles and are making real progress on persistent educational problems. In the program’s inaugural year, spotlighted groups shared details of their work at the Spotlight Symposium in Washington, DC in November 2017, and also in Spotlight sessions at the Summit on Improvement in Education in April 2018.
