Networked Improvement Communities Provide Powerful, Proven Possibilities for School Improvement
June 27, 2017
In a blog post, Education Week‘s Charles Kerchner explores networked improvement communities (NICs) as a powerful possibility for school and district improvement. Kerchner overviews several successful, established improvement efforts using networked improvement science, including work to improve college developmental math, expand college access, and equip K-12 students to persist in the face of learning challenges. He also describes a new technology tool that education improvement networks are using to conduct rapid cycle testing, record results of tests, and broadly share results with members across districts and states.
