Our friends from the University of St Andrews Lean Team attended Carnegie’s 2017 Summit on Improvement in Education, noting that their favorite session was “Achieving Cultures of Improvement and Performance Excellence,” hosted by Wisconsin district superintendents Pat Greco and JoAnn Sternke. We have written about Greco and Sternke in our blog post, “Two Wisconsin School Districts Pave an Early Path to Continuous Improvement.” In that post, these two trailblazers reflected on how they embarked on an improvement journey and distilled what they learned in order to make the process more manageable for other districts.
