The Power of Collective Wisdom
April 10, 2017
A recent Edutopia blog post by Maurice J. Elias, “The Power of Collective Wisdom,” reminded us of one of the six core principles of improvement: “Accelerate improvements through networked communities. Embrace the wisdom of crowds. We can accomplish more together than even the best of us can accomplish alone.” As the post points out, the journey to successful improvement lies in the ongoing process, in being able to adjust to the inevitable and numerous deviations from the plan that will befall any school-based intervention attempt, even with the best evidence-based program.
