We are gearing up for our 2017 Summit on Improvement in Education by watching keynote speaker Peter M. Senge’s video, Navigating Webs of Interdependence. One of the six core principles of improvement says, “See the system that produces the current outcomes.” It is hard to improve what you do not fully understand, and Senge’s work encourages us to look deeply at the interdependences that make systems complex.
