Over the past two years, the To&Through Project developed an early warning indicator system for elementary and middle schools in Chicago. The To&Through Middle Grades Network, a group of 14 elementary and middle schools in Chicago, piloted the “on-track” metric with its schools and ultimately integrated the metric into its aim statement. This session will detail how schools in the Middle Grades Network now use the on-track metric to inform everything from the development of change ideas to cycles of improvement.
