This session tells the story of Hemet Unified School District’s transformation journey. Over the last seven years superintendent Christi Barrett has led the district on a remarkable transformation journey built around the values of equity and continuous improvement. Through this process she has built strong, trusting relationships with her board and union leadership. And she has established an executive cabinet that is committed to making Hemet’s vision a reality: embrace, educate, and empower every student, every day. Participants will learn about the important work only senior leaders can do to lead values-based organizational transformation.
